Support Our rideATAXIA Team
A little more than a week away!!
Please consider supporting our team - Hope for toMORROW! We are on a mission to find a cure!
On October 15 we are riding to cure Friedreich’s ataxia (FA), a debilitating, life shortening neuromuscular disease that our 11 year old granddaughter Anna Morrow, was diagnosed with. We will ride with local FA families, friends and cycling enthusiasts to redefine what is possible in FA research.
rideATAXIA was founded by Kyle Bryant, a young man with FA. Kyle redefined what was possible in his life when he took up recumbent cycling. He says after training for and completing his first century ride, "I can't even walk down the street, but I rode 100 miles in a day. After that the sky was the limit." Since 2007, rideATAXIA has raised over $3 million to fund FA research progress.
Our son, Ben Morrow, will be running the New York marathon in November with a group of FARA supporters to raise awareness and funding to find a cure for FA.
Last year, team hope for toMORROW raised $31,000 for FARA! We hope to do it again this year.
Join us in supporting the urgent pace of that research. Donate. Together we will cure FA!
